A big side effect of stopping Effexor is nausea and vomiting. So that could explain the weight loss. I have had that for the past three days even with taking Effexor. I have just stopped effexor about 1.5 weeks ago. I was on it for about 1 1/2 years and had to get off after 25 lb. weight gain, effexor worked great for my mind, but not my body, felt very fat. Does anyone know how long it takes to lose the effexor weight after stopping. I work out every day and eat pretty well. Just tired of not losing. HELP!
